Today was our first day with our new family member, Bo. He is a very very cute thing but don't let his looks fool you he is quite the handful. He slept in my arms all the way home and was super mellow. That all changed once we got home. He was a very curious little thing. He really enjoys biting. Biting fingers, toes, arms, hair and whatever he can get his paws on. Even my older dog Barkley is scared of him for he keeps nipping at him too. We learned that Bo absolutely hates the cold. Which I don't blame him. He refuses to go pee outside, so he pees in the house. In order to get him to even go outside you must carry him out. He has learned to pick up the word "naughty" quite quickly and is slowly learning what he can and can't do. He is a very sleepy puppy though. He is always constantly yawning and sleeping. Bo LOVES cuddling with people! He is very different from Barkley when he was a puppy. But like Barkley and most puppies he will learn and no doubt be a wonderful dog! For now all we can do is hold on and enjoy the puppy years. He is quite adorable and will make an awesome addition to the Flasch family! And look...Im not scared of him!

I went home that night and watched some poem readings on YouTube to get some inspiration. Once I felt inspired I started typing. I hammered this poem out in a matter of 10 minutes. I was very proud of this piece for I think it relates to a lot of young people. I read it to my mom and she loved it, she said it was very powerful and true. I ended up submitting this to my teacher, and she along with other english teachers loved my piece. My piece along with some others in my class had got chosen to be published into the All Conference Writers Magazine. We also got to go to a reading a
