Tattoos.

This was my first tattoo ever! I got it done at Timeless Tattoos in Appleton WI. in the mall. This place did such an amazing job! My tattoo artist was able to draw this up in one try I was very impressed! I also loved this place because they accept walk ins. Defiantly would recommend this place. Once I turned 18 I was determined to get a tattoo. My mom also got one with me which I was kind enough to pay for her. I was super nervous but at the same time I knew I could do it because I have a very high pain tolerance. I also thought for my first tattoo why not go big! GO BIG OR GO HOME! I did not think having this done hurt at all. I was very relaxed the whole time! My dad was not to happy about it because he thought it was too big and I would never score a job as a teacher. But in todays world who doesn't have tattoos! We learn how to work around them. They are quite easy to cover up with make-up or long sleeves. He got over it and thinks its a very nice tattoo! This tattoo is a reminder that we may go through some troubles that are hard and hurt us but we learn from those mistakes and take the pain and grow to make yourself stronger. There is a personal meaning behind it that I have told to no one.

This was my second tattoo! I also had this done at Timeless Tattoos. I got this done not even a month after my first tattoo. Once you get one and you can handle the pain, they are VERY addicting! I went with my friend Emma. It was her 18th birthday and she was getting her first tattoo. She wanted me to go with her for support but I CANT walk out of a tattoo parlor without getting one myself. I got 3 cute little birds! I made them small to please my dad and his response was "it would have looked even better if they were bigger and more." Ugh..... There is really no meaning behind these birds. I saw them on Pinterest and thought they were simple and cute! I want to add more birds in the future! This one didn't hurt at all! I was literally falling asleep while the artist was doing this!
This is my third tattoo that I just recently got! This time I got this one done at Tattoo & Good Girl Piercing in Oshkosh WI. This time my friend Jenna was turning 18 and I was going with her for support! Like I said before I I cannot walk out of a tattoo parlor without getting a tattoo myself! I was not planning on getting one! But defiantly glad I did! This spot was very tender then my other 2 places! The day after hurt more than actually getting it done! It felt like a huge bruise. This tattoo is pretty self explanatory. Just a symbol for my love for animals. This paw representing my dog Barkley. I would like to get a second paw in the future for my other dog Bo.

SIDE NOTES:
I love getting tattoos! NEVER let anyone tell you that they are sloppy or trashy! If you want to tattoo your body that is your choice! Just make sure its something you like and you can live with! It is on you forever! I see tattoos as a beautiful scar that you got to choose! Someones artwork! Words or images that show who you are! They do not define you or make you a bad person! All these tattoos were inspired by photos I found on Pinterest! If you are looking for some inspirations for your tattoos defiantly go check out my Pinterest page which can be found at the top of my website!

Poem: Hi, I'm Society.

Background:  This poem is what started everything off for me. My senior year of high school I was approached by my creative writing teacher asking me to produce a piece of writing to be entered into a contest. This writing could have been a long or short story any type of poem. To be honest I wasn't to fond of the idea. I knew I was a good writer but for a contest? I told her I would think about it. I went home that night and watched some poem readings on YouTube to get some inspiration. Once I felt inspired I started typing. I hammered this poem out in a matter of 10 minutes. I was very proud of this piece for I think it relates to a lot of young people. I read it to my mom and she loved it, she said it was very powerful and true. I ended up submitting this to my teacher, and she along with other english teachers loved my piece. My piece along with some others in my class had got chosen to be published into the All Conference Writers Magazine. We also got to go to a reading a
